Keiller Leadership Academy opened as a charter public school in 2005 and in one academic year the school met its NCLB targets, gained 58 API points, and moved from a ranking of a 6 to a 10 for similar schools. The school has a strong partnership with the University of San Diego, supporting the development of their academic program.

The mission of Keiller Leadership Academy is to create student leaders who value quality education and embrace their role as contributing members of our diverse community.
